Controlled big bonfire and tornado with firemen standing around. Pignarul is a local word for a bonfire in the Epiphany night. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, the custom of lighting bonfires during the Epiphany night was passed on by Celts. At the Coja castle a big bonfire (pignarul grant) is lighted and by observing its smoke, prophecies for a new year are made. The competitions of fiery chariots and fireworks are organized as well.
