Sacramento, California, USA - March 20, 2011: A 1998 USA postage stamp with an illustration of Jesse Owens jumping over a track and field hurdle. On May 25, 1935 at the Big Ten Track and Field Championships, Owens set three world records and tied another in the span of less than one hour. The stamp design was done by Paul Calle.
